From quick rib-boat trips of a few hours to mini-cruises with dinner and entertainment. Here on the high coast, there are many opportunities to get out to sea, either just a boat trip or out to one of the islands.
Ådalen III
The high coast is beautiful and perhaps the coast is best seen from a boat. As a reminder of old-time boat traffic on the Ångermanälven, Ådalen III cruises around during the summer months with Kramforsviken or Skeppsbron in Härnösand as its starting point. Grab an archipelago buffet while passing under the mighty Högakusten Bridge! Have a cup of coffee in the café while you look out over Sandslån’s old timber sorting! One or two departures per day almost every day during high season.
The river trip
Short or long trips on the Ångerman river for a maximum of twelve people. Food and drinks on board but must be pre-ordered. The specialty is tours to the High Coast Distillery.
M/F Ulvön & M/F Minerva
Passenger ships that run regular traffic between Köpmanholmen and Ulvöhamn on Ulvön. Stops on the way at Strängöarna, Trysunda and Fjären, but the number of stops per trip varies. The journey time varies between 45 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the number of stops. Summer timetable from mid-June to mid-August means that the traffic increases to six-seven daily trips in each direction.
M/S Asta
Tours from Veåsand and Skuleberget Sea Camping to both Mjältön and Ulvön. The evening tours are especially recommended.
M/S Kusttrafik
Provides passenger traffic to Ulvöhamn from the home port of Ullånger, but also picks up passengers in Docksta and Mjällomslandet and drops passengers off at the same places on the way home. M/S Kusttrafik makes a trip daily during the summer months. The journey time from Ullånger to Ulvöhamn is two hours.
M/S Ronja
handles passenger traffic from the two old picturesque fishing villages of Barsta and Bönhamn to the Högbonden nature reserve. During high season, there are four daily tours Monday–Sunday. From the middle to the end of August, it runs between Barsta and Högbonden twice daily if needed and from the beginning of September to the beginning of October, advance booking is mandatory the day before the planned trip on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
M/S Rånö
Offers private boat trips for smaller groups. It can be weddings, excursions or a customer meeting. Has home port in Ullånger, but can pick up groups in ports between Örnsköldsvik and Härnösand.
Sjötaxi Sundsvall
Has two aluminum boats with space for a maximum of six passengers per boat. Drive sea taxis, tours, sea transport and various assignments.
Härnö Rib
Härnösand company that offers excursions with a fast rib boat. Run chartered tours and offer ready-made experience packages.
