Paradiset
Äventyrsbadet Paradiset in the center is a real crowd magnet. Here is Sweden’s longest water slide, the 180 meter long Magic Eye, wild rapids, whirlpools, massage stations and much more. For the adults (18-year-old limit) there is a spa with around twenty attractions.
Varvsberget and Hörnsjön
From Varvsberget you have by far the best view of the town and the surrounding areas, plus parts of the Örnsköldsvik archipelago. Why not also take a walk around charming Hörnsjön with benches and a barbecue area, which is located below Varvsberget.
Veckefjärden golf course
Three kilometers from the center is the Veckefjärden championship course in a scenic setting with a shop and restaurant.
Gullviks havsbad
Popular bathing spot outside town with cabins, camping, restaurant and shop.
Adventure golf & skatepark, Lugnviksparken
A couple of hundred meters from the main square is Lugnviksparken with a skatepark and a cheeky minigolf course of an adventure character.
Örnsköldsvik’s museum and art gallery
Located at Läroverksgatan 1, in one corner of Örnparken. Here you can fill up on cultural history, art, souvenirs and coffee.
Paradisliften
Take the basket lift up to Varvsberget and enjoy the magnificent view from up there.
