Long before Höga Kusten became a world heritage site, the concept of Nordingrå was used. For many, Nordingrå is the very heart of the High Coast. And Norabygden is a neighbor to Nordingrå.

Modern and very personal rooms in Mannaminne’s museum area. The building is a copy of a Finnish grand man’s farm and is located with a fantastic view of Häggvik and Kråknäsfjärden.

Hotel Höga Kusten, Hornöberget
Strategically located at the northern end of the Höga Kusten Bridge, the hotel offers fantastic views, good food and good service. Playground, disc golf course and the start of the Lilla Högakustenleden are next to the hotel.

Norrfällsvikens camping & cottage village
Modern, large and very popular campsite near the picturesque fishing village with its range of restaurants. Cottages in different sizes.

Björkuddens Hotel & Restaurant, Nyadal
Secluded but central and with a lovely view of the High Coast Bridge. The business is housed in a classic building from 1892 that became a guesthouse in 1952.

Next to the Högakustenleden, at the foot of Helvetesberget and near Gaviksfjärden.

Hörsång’s campsite, Norabygden
Pitches, cabins, guest jetty and cafe. Nice accommodation right next to a sea bath with a lovely sandy beach.

The small shop contains a bit of a lot for both locals and tourists, but there is also a well-stocked shelf with local food crafts. Cafe corner.

Handicraft shop in an old defunct general store. Here you will find local handicrafts, organic products and many other exciting things.

Newly established barbecue restaurant near the northern end of the High Coast Bridge. Market yourself with “Type like Texas, but Nyadal”.

Fiskarfänget, Norrfällsviken
Archipelago buffet at Fiskarfänget in Norrfällsviken is a real classic. The restaurant also sells fish and various messes for those who prefer to bring their food to the cabin or caravan.

Gårdsbutiken i Själand, Nordingrå
High-class restaurant with associated café. Bases all cooking on local ingredients. Is it good then? Yes, that’s what the editors of the taste bible White Guide, among others, think – year after year. Highly recommended.

Good pizzas and delicious dishes are enjoyed with the sea as a neighbour.

Restaurant and café in the middle of the fishing village.

Skutskepparn, Barsta
Well-prepared food in a cozy atmosphere in one of Nordingrå’s many fishing villages. Located near Barsta havscamping.

Mannaminne, Häggvik
New restaurateur and new menu for the year. Found in the very first house – of more than 50 – that was built on Mannaminne.

Lövviks Restaurang & Café
Calm and cozy eatery in a nice setting. High marks for well-prepared home cooking.

Björkuddens Hotell & Restaurang, Nyadal
Here you have lunch or an à la carte dinner in the great hall of the beautiful brick building from the late 1800s. Bar with a wide range of whiskies.

Hotel Höga Kusten, Hornöberget
It’s not just the food that’s good. The view towards the mouth of the Ångermanälven and the Högakusten Bridge is so breathtaking that it must belong to one of Sweden’s most photographed views.

Mannaminne, Häggvik
Artist Anders Åberg’s (1945–2018) strange open-air museum and works of art with over 50 buildings from all over the world. Catering, shops and several small museums are available in the area.

Norrfällsviken golf course
18-hole course by the sea.

Norrfällsviken’s adventure golf
Bangolf course in front of the old fisherman’s chapel. Here you can, among other things, play the ball on a miniature of the Högakusten Bridge.

Four kilometers of mighty flat diabase slabs that slope out into the sea. No kiosks, no sales, no activities. Nothing happens here – except that the heart rate and blood pressure drop and the sense of life rises. Enjoy.

Seal safari & bird watching, Lappudden, Nordingrå
Lappudden is a brilliant starting point for all kinds of excursions and adventures in the High Coast. Rental of accommodation and equipment, but from here you can also go on different experiences under experienced management.

Kulturfabriken, Mjällom
Museum which tells about Mjällom’s history with thriving shoe and bread industries, among other things. Also cafe, flea market and exhibitions of local artists and artisans.

Storsands havsbad, Norrfällsviken
Only one kilometer from Norrfällsviken is Storsands havsbad with its strange, reddish sand. Good swimming and easy to find a private spot on the beach.

Tomas Ledin Museum, Lövvik
The artist and songwriter Tomas Ledin has been given his own museum in Lövvik, where he spent parts of his childhood and which was the main source of inspiration for his acclaimed album Höga Kusten.
