Some time over for cultural activities and experiences? Then you’ve come right. Dream away from gleaming mahogany recreational boats or marvel at 750 bells in a barn. There is much to see in the High Coast museums and art galleries.
Svartviksvägen 22, Kvissleby
Visits with many well-preserved buildings and environments from the sawmill era. Test on the track and let the children play in the playground with historical theme.

Sundsvall’s museum you will find in Kulturmagasinet in the center. There are always new exhibitions about Sundsvall’s history and present. Here you can also see parts of the museum’s art collection.
Torggatan 2, Kramfors

Stora Torget, Härnösand
At Härnösand’s art gallery, a unique art collection, the Qvist’s collection, and current contemporary art are shown – in the summer, Mark Frygell and Magdolna Szabó.
High Coast’s smallest museum? A stone’s throw from the water in the fishing village, Vålen keeps open during the summer months. Boat, fishing gear and lots of information on small surface.
The world’s largest timber sorting plant is now a small museum, beautifully on a small island in the Ångermanälven river.
How many watches will fit in a converted barn? Answer: At least 750 table, wall and floor doors from four centuries. This is a remarkable museum experience. Open on weekends in July.
